Which is good, but we're still a quite disappointed with this fact that the HTML5 Web Client can be used only partially to manage vSphere 6.5 even if bundled with the GA release. However, we have information about some significant improvements of the Flex-based client (vSphere Web Client) which, has, for example, a live-refresh. Oh dear… That's not exacly what marketers calls Single Pane of Glas, right? -:) VSphere 6.5 does not have C# client so you're left in the “dark” with the Host client, vSphere Client (HTML5 incomplete – more on this later) and vSphere Web Client (Adobe Flex based). Why is VMware releasing a vSphere 6.5 without complete HTML5 based web client management, is unknown. VSphere 6.5 brings HTML 5 web client, but this one does not cover all features and functions just yet. Virtual infrastructure monitoring software review.

So it sounds like i need roll back or re-install to go back to 6.5.0 and update 1 if i want to be using the windows client. This is what I have for my personal lab, to learn on I was lucky to get a G5 and a MD1000 with a perc6e card and cables donated to me so I am grateful for that. Currently have a windows 10 pro and a 2016 server running on 6.5.0U2, Yes i wish i had $500 to spend.

then after many hours of attempts i was able to upgrade to 6.5.0 from a depot file using exscli command, the client was still working on 6.5, I think my mistake was jumping from 6.5.0 directly to 6.5.0u2 as the windows client was still working on 6.5 and you say it still works on 6.5.0U1, I should have not jumped to U2.
I originally got this G5 server with 6.0.
